The work pictured above, Playground, Wells Next the Sea, England from the series On the Fence, will be part of a juried exhibition curated by Tim Parsley at Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, OH. The Show is titled Burb: An Exhibition Exploring Zones of Living and will run from January 22- February 19, 2010.
I am very pleased to announce that my work will be included in the 2010 Beyond/In Western New York Biennial called Alternating Currents. Hosted by the Albright-Knox and a dozen other Buffalo venues this Biennial continues to attract more national attention each year. My work will be housed in CEPA Gallery. I participated in the show [un]natural worlds at the Rockport Center for the Arts in Rockport, TX from Sept 9-Oct 10, 2009. Curated by John Aäsp, the group exhibition features my Nine Leaves separated by Nothing, a 2D wall installatin of nine photographed oak leaves that were typed with DNA from the species genome. The show was reviewed by glasstire.com. (Scroll down to "Rockport" to see write-up).
